Slig chauffeur from Soul Storm.

That's him officer. that's the slig that stole the people’s hearts and minds.

EXTRA SLIG TIME

This is kind of a fan character, ‘Stu’. An albino slig from the scrapped bonus game that would have followed an albino slig escaping the birthing pool before being killed because of his abnormalities. YEEEEEARS ago me and @scifer​ did a few concepts and ideas for what this game would have been like and hoped to make a mock-up of what the game would have been like. But this was before the inviable tides of work and moving took away our precious time to work on such a project. We got more time now, but we usually do our own stuff, but I do sometimes wonder if it be worth us going back to doing more art.

and I recently realized we never uploaded the last of what we did or the start of our opening animatic either. It featured sligs sending their beloved queen Skillya fan mail (mostly bout their new guns, beating up Mukodons and how they hope she’s proud).

...mail of which would go down a chute into an incinerator to keep her butt warm. I need to get off my arse and put the sound and stills together and upload what little we started because I still think it’s very funny and worth sharing.

Oddworld-tober Day 16: Fee

It’s a very cold day in Nolybab and Molluck is there on some sort of business and has given his wallet to his slig so he can the parking fee

I wasn’t sure how this one would turn out since I had to redraw it again and little bits of color were meant to be some sort of lighting and it made Molluck look like he’s flushed but I kind of like it since it makes him look sick, maybe that’s why he’s shivering in a heavy coat and why he looks so unhappy to be outside!

Mild follow up, where would you probably say the line is drawn between Gluk job and Mud job?

Also, Manual labour, basically. Mudokons are the workers, Glukkons are the supervisors. Even in low end work, a Glukkon is still above a Mud in industrial society. Even Sligs get assigned the nicer jobs like Valet/Chauffeur.

Mudokons are manual labourers/sanitation workers/ etcetera. They would do the absolutely thankless jobs while the Glukkons loom over them. A glukkon pud is still above a mudokon because of like, societal ingrained racism.

Glukkons are the stuffshirts who take credit for successful businesses while Mudokons are the low-kept slave labour that make those businesses successful.
